Thsi is a place where I let loose my feeling and talk about my hatred for Shadow the Hedgehog
For anyone who doesn't know, Shadow is the new character in Sonic Adventure 2. He claims he is the "ultimate lifeform".
I'm probably the first person to actually hate Shadow, that I know of. I actually like Rouge because she doesnt look just another character, and she doesnt have a cliche attitude. When I first saw SA2 I thought, "Cool, a new cool looking evil character!". Then I got the game and found out he looked just like Sonic, he controls just like Sonic and even has the same "I-dont-care" attitude.
That really ticked me off. SonicTeam is known for its great original ideas. But, how original is Shadow? I probably wouldnt even be that upset if Metal Sonic had never been invented, but he was and theres no need for 2 rival character clones.
Why does everyone think that he is so powerful? What can he do that no other Sonic character can't. Lets see:
-Spin Dash-Sonic, Tails, Knuckles
-Roll Jump-Sonic, Tails, Knuckles
-light speed dash/attack- Sonic
-Run fast, oh wait he's handicapped, he has to have special shoes to make him run fast!
-Chaos Control- ANYONE WITH A CHAOS EMERALD!
-Grind Rails-Sonic
So he's pretty mcuh a uselsss character anyway. Even Big the Cat is better then him because he at least has his own attacks and style.
Also, some people are shallow and like Shadow just because he "Looks Cool", which I'm not even gonna go there.
